IT INFRASTRUCTURE ANALYST
Overview
The IT Infrastructure Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, implementing, and supporting IT systems and solutions that align with the company’s strategic goals. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify and resolve IT issues, optimize system performance, and contribute to IT projects. This role requires having strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
What You'll Do
- Manages elements of the current infrastructure to ensure high availability and optimal performance in an integrated environment.
- Administer and support the company’s Office 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Intune and Microsoft Teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft O365 services and integration.
- Analyze and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime and improve performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technological needs and recommend solutions.
- Assist in the planning, implementation and maintenance of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance and security, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
- Provide training and support to end-users to enhance their understanding of IT systems and tools.
- Provide support for IT incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution.
- Maintain an asset management system, keeping it up to date for all assets and services throughout their life cycle.
- Stay current with Microsoft updates and new features and recommend enhancements to improve productivity and collaboration.
- Works with 3rd party IT partners, vendors and contacts to resolve technical problems
What You'll Need
- Degree in Computer Science or similar field, or a combination of relevant education and prior work experience
- Knowledge of IT security best practices and industry standards.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals) are a plus.
- Experience and comfort with presenting to senior-level executives
- Think independently and handle multiple projects through to completion
- Experience with progressive IT support roles
- Strong knowledge and understanding of M365 services and applications.
- Experience with Meraki cloud technology and management of Azure tenant
- Experience in a hybrid, on-premises and cloud environment
- Independent work initiative, sound judgment, diplomacy, analytical ability, detail oriented, and professional demeanor
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Flexibility to travel as needed – 5 -10 %
