Job Overview:
As a QA Lead you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle - from estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing & deployment to support of application developed for our clients. As a core member working in a global team environment you will work closely with solution architects and other stakeholders in the client and Perficient teams. You will help the Project Technical lead on translation of wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements, and subsequently into technical design.

Responsibilities
- Lead the technical planning, requirements gathering and testing phases for delivery.
- Define QA Architecture, Structure, framework of tools, and drive the process.
- Contribute to the resolution of all requirements/feedback/scoping/design issues or questions directly with the client.
- Understand the unique business and technical requirements of the engagement and facilitate communications on the most appropriate solution design.
- Ensure implementation and signoff is done following best practices and client standards.
- Estimate project testing efforts -unit testing, integration , UAT and Production signoff efforts.
- Engage in the process of developing technical documentation efforts and creation of user stories.
- Unit testing of code components per the user story.
- Conduct code audits and reviews as required.
- Serve as a QA lead and mentor for the team. Provide technical support or leadership in the testing and continual improvement of service.
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members and client.
- Participate in the creation of the WBS and backlog per sprint and assist PM in project planning
- Independently manage assigned tasks
- Lead and manage an offshore development and QA team members
- Attend sprint planning, retrospective meetings, daily stand-ups and report technical blockers to the team
- Strong on API testing; Knowledge on UI testing is a plus
Qualifications
- Passionate coder with 10+ years of application testing experience
- Event-driven testing experience
- Minimum 6 years of testing experience with various API testing tools
- Experience with Jenkins, Microservices, Kafka is required
- Experience with CI/CD automation tools; Selenium is desired
- Experience working with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure and/or GCP
- Experience in API life cycle management
- Experience leading, managing, and mentoring global distributed teams
- Full life-cycle development experience – with Agile/Scrum project approach
- Client facing and/or consulting experience is a must
- Phenomenal communicators who can explain and present concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike, including high level decision makers.

- Skilled problem solvers with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions.
- Flexible and adaptable attitude, disciplined to manage multiple responsibilities and adjust to varied environments.
- Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design.
- Financial Services background is considered a plus
The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $ 92,118 to $ 202,730 Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
