Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team as the first engineering hire, working closely with the CTO. You'll design, build, and maintain our data pipelines, architectures, and workflows, leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies. Your expertise will enable us to extract valuable insights from vast datasets.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines, architectures, and workflows
- Collaborate with the CTO to develop and optimize data processing algorithms
- Work independently to integrate data sources, models, and applications
- Develop ETL processes to extract data from various sources
- Implement data quality, security, and governance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering
- Strong Python skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
- Experience with latest technologies and trends in the data engineering discipline
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
