Office Administrative Assistant
Description of Position The employee in this position plays a key role within our office includes answering the phone, greeting visitors, data entry tasks, maintaining filing systems, as well as providing support to our managers and employees, and assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities. A skilled and responsible administrative position requiring attention to detail and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet customers and office guests;
- Answer phones in a professional manner and direct calls to appropriate persons or take detailed messages;
- Support office staff and executives with clerical tasks
- Maintain DOT maintenance files;
- Support office staff with invoicing and account receivables;
- Monitor and maintain office equipment and supplies; request repair or restocking when necessary;
- Ensure office is kept clean and organized at all times;
- Perform a wide variety of secretarial and administrative duties as required by daily operations;
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task;
- Maintain acceptable attendance standards.
Physical Demands of Job
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time while working;
- Constant hand, fingers and arm use;
- To occasionally function in activities involving walking, bending, squatting, twisting, reaching;
- Ability to hear and speak clearly;
- Ability to lift and or move up to 15/20 lbs.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of relevant experience;
- Valid Driver’s License;
- General knowledge of computers, experience using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and Outlook;
- Ability to operate general office equipment, such as a copy machine, printer, multi-line telephone system, etc.
