The Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to cyber threats and incidents within our organization's network and systems. Utilizing your expertise in cybersecurity best practices and tools. Conduct thorough investigations into security breaches, anomalies, and suspicious activities. Duties will include identifying vulnerabilities, recommending security enhancements, and implementing defensive measures to safeguard our critical assets. Collaborate closely with other security professionals and stakeholders to develop and implement proactive strategies to mitigate cyber risks.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor risks and implement timely cybersecurity solutions to prevent complications.
- Perform artifact collection in real time to coincide with spiral development and develop and submit the associated accreditation package.
- Develop the Security CONOPS including Security Plan
- Complete accreditation package artifacts in Xacta in order to obtain any Authority to Operate (ATO), Authority to Connect (ATC) and Certificate to Field (CTF) for mission systems.
- Ability to perform system scans and identify system vulnerabilities.
- Draft, edit, maintain and provide input to local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Provide test and evaluation support for new technology. Prepare reports detailing the results of the test and evaluation including specific recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree plus three years experience, or seven years experience in lieu of degree
- IAT Level II (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) certification required.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously; coordinating resources and ensuring scheduled goals are met.
Education
BA/BS degree desired.
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
TS/SCI Clearance is required.
