Summary: This position is responsible for complex commercial loan administration that requires specialized knowledge of SBA loans and exceptional client service. The SBA Commercial Loan Documentation analyst will work in partnership with the SBA Loan Closer and assigned commercial and private bankers.
Salary Range: The salary range budgeted for this position is $52,700/yr to $72,800/yr and represents the Company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The compensation offered to a candidate may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Understands and complies with requirements of all laws and regulations applicable to the position
- Responsible for accurate data entry in commercial loan origination system to build customer, guarantor, and affiliated entity relationships in the loan system
- Review SBA loan application packages for completeness and accuracy before submission to underwriting. Advise the Banker of any deficiencies and support the Banker in bringing the application to completion before submitting.
- Support Banker in processing “needs list items” received from applicants.
- Support Banker in generating “approval”, “additional information” and “adverse action” letters.
- Request and follow for completed spreads in Credit Track.
- Transmit in Credit Track and follow for approved credit approvals and loan maintenance, then upload approvals to the Director.
- Oversee the collection of and proper processing of loan deposits/fees in partnership with assigned commercial and private bankers.
- Maintain SBA broker log, which tracks loans referred by and payments paid to SBA brokers.
- Request loan closer open title and order preliminary title reports, when appropriate.
- Responsible for ordering appraisal reports and environmental reports utilizing the Bank’s Rim’s process.
- Responsible for ordering third-party reports as assigned in commercial work processes to ensure compliance with FFB and SBA policies, guidelines, procedures, and all regulatory compliance
- Responsible for utilizing third-party vendors to request business and personal credit reports, compliance reports, and other due diligence documentation and ensuring reports are only requested with proper documentation in compliance with all regulations, policies, and guidelines
- Maintain SBA and commercial loan files in Director in partnership with assigned commercial and private bankers to ensure documentation is organized and complete for third-party reviewers
- Responsible for accurately scanning and uploading all customer, guarantor, affiliated entity, and loan documentation into Director and properly maintaining department WIP files
- Partner with commercial loan underwriting and assigned commercial and private bankers to ensure financial ticklers and covenants are accurate and supporting documentation is collected from customers on time
- Ensure tickler batch reports and SBA tickler letters are processed timely
- Must maintain a thorough understanding of SBA standard operating procedures for origination and loan servicing
- Must maintain a complete understanding of the Bank’s loan documentation policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Promote and provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating and cooperating with all internal and external customers
- Provide support in the acquisition of new clientele and the maintenance of existing relationships
- Perform other duties as assigned

Education And/or Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required; higher degree preferred
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in SBA loan processing required
Skills
- Understand and can speak knowledgeably about the various loan programs, loan procedures, and loan forms
- Understand and can speak knowledgeably about SBA products and Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP”)
- Understands and can speak knowledgeably about the various SBA loan programs, loan procedures, and loan forms
- Knowledge of commercial and consumer loan documentation, including loans secured by real property, UCC Filings, titled vehicles and equipment, pledged assets, and contracts
- Required to have knowledge and experience with business entity documentation including partnership agreements, trust agreements, corporate documentation, and limited liability companies
- Must be familiar with SBA processes and loan packages from the loan application, closing, and loan funding
- Must have strong customer service ethics and team-building skills
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and produce in a high-volume, deadline-driven production workgroup
- Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Strong grammar, composition, and analytical skills are essential
- Proficient in Windows applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
