The Accounting Clerk responsibilities include reviewing and assisting with financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with budgets and monthly closing processes, collaborating with internal/external customers, and assisting management team as needed with special projects and requests.
Requirements:

- 1+ years’ experience in public accounting.
- Two (2) or more years of broad accounting experience.
Duties:
- Enter accounting related information into business logs andinspect accounting books for efficiency and accuracy.
- Organize and update financial records.
- Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue.
- Reconciling the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers.
- Prepare documentation for external auditors.
- Completing analysis of the employee expenditures.
- Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company.
- Assist with day-to-day accounting including but not limited to A/R, A/P, payroll, G/L accounting, and journal entries.
- Manage relationships between AP vendors and business unit leaders.
- Cut checks and mail out AP payments for all buildings and ancillary businesses.
- Ensure all credit cards and loans are paid timely with Staff Accountant and Director of Finance.
- Other duties as assigned.
