About the Associate for Business Operations
Manhattan Strategies is seeking an Associate for Business Operations. This is a full-time, on-site role for an early to mid-career individual. The best-fit candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of excellent judgement and thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment. This role reports directly to senior leadership.
The Associate for Business Operations serves three core functions:
- Internal Support (40%): Drive internal excellence across the firm of approximately 25 employees. This includes continuously assessing efficiency, managing technical assets and assessing and implementing employee programs to maintain Manhattan Strategies as an employer of choice.
- External Operations (40%): Serve as the firm's primary point of contact for financial activities with clients' accounts representatives. This includes compiling and delivering regular spend reports, invoicing and day-to-day inquiries.
- Business Development (20%): Spearhead new business proposal development in partnership with account leads. This includes assessment and preparation of RFPs and pitch decks leveraging winning approaches, research and creative solutions.
Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of experience in similar role; experience in a consulting environment is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex projects, introduce creative solutions and quickly apply excellent judgement
- Reputation for maintaining an eye for detail, even surrounding sometimes mundane or repetitive tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with accounting and AP/AR software, such as QuickBooks. Ariba and Coupa
- Comfortability with moderate IT support for Windows OS
- Good writing skills and awareness of AP Style principles
- Achievement of or interest in achieving an advanced degree, such as an MBA, is a plus
This role is not responsible for managing people.
Benefits & Compensation:
- Compensation is comprised of base salary, 401(k) profit share and bonus eligibility
- Base salary range is $72,000 to $99,000
- Total eligible compensation range is $78,000 to $115,000
