About the Principal Project Manager position
Connective Business Solution is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Principal Project Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team on a significant project management engagement for our client. This is a contract role, and the selected candidate will be compensated on an hourly basis (W2) for the duration of the engagement. As the Principal, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of all project phases, ensuring that client objectives are met within scope, time, and budget constraints.
Project Manager responsibilities are:
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality project management services, focusing on enterprise applications and IT systems.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the client and project team, ensuring strong communication and successful project outcomes.
- Provide expert guidance on business process improvements, organizational change management, and ERP system implementations.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT assessments, strategic planning initiatives, and system implementations.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and risk management strategies to ensure project success.
- Prepare and review comprehensive project documentation
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computers and Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner
- Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in project management with a focus on public sector agencies and government clients.
- Proven ability to manage multiple public sector IT projects, with experience in client needs analysis, system selection, and vendor management.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
