The Client Coordinator is the Client Champion. Client Coordinators oversee proper communication, workflow management, product and asset delivery, and general organization for all assigned Sweet Fish Media Brand Clients.
Client coordinators are part of a tandem effort with team members who oversee content strategy and production in order to deliver on each client’s strategic objectives. Owning the majority of client communications, Client Coordinators are the representatives of Sweet Fish to the client and therefore carry great responsibility in the success of our product.
The Client Coordinator manages the production workflow of all media (podcasts, YouTube content, newsletters, and social media) for every media brand in their portfolio. They are experts at establishing rapport, managing expectations, and building relationships as effective and efficient communicators and dutiful project managers.
Responsibilities
Effective Communication
- Acts as a liaison between clients and internal teams, coordinating timely resolutions and escalating issues or concerns
- Confident, clear, effective, and friendly communication skills - spoken and written
- Excellent at setting expectations, and politely creating boundaries that in turn result in mutually beneficial client/agency relationships
Project Management Expertise
- Precise attention to detail, and the ability to catch mistakes and opportunities in client deliverables
- Strong organization, scheduling, and prioritization abilities
- Can quickly identify and solve complex problems with limited guidance
- Can regularly generate reports highlighting key performance metrics and progress against client goals
Content Savvy
- Recognizes in and out of scope content assets.
- Gatekeeps what is sent to the client to ensure satisfaction.
- Acts as an informed liaison between clients and the SF team.
Our ideal Client Coordinator has:
- 2+ years managing client relationships and driving results
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Project management and team utilization and alignment skill
- Previous experience with work management tools like Google Suite, ClickUp, and Slack
- Some understanding of content strategy and content production
- Bonus points if you can speak the language of B2B
