Position: Senior Engineer, Frontend
Annual compensation: $150,000 minimum
Location: 100% remote

Requirements:
- Exceptional integrity
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years of frontend experience
- Expert in frontend technologies such as TypeScript, NextJS, and ReactJS
- Experience making holistic architectural decisions that consider the full stack as well as product strategies
- Eye for UI/UX design, and experience in creating mockups
Preferred:
- Full-stack awareness; previous experience with or willingness to learn backend technologies
- Undergraduate degree in computer science or a related field
- Experience building B2B SaaS targeting large enterprises
- Experience working within healthcare and/or finance domains

What is the role?
As a dedicated Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll play a central role in refining our technical implementations as we transition from early stage, exploratory products to a mature, scalable platform. Your primary responsibility will be crafting and maintaining interfaces in close coordination and alignment with the frontend team. Though your main domain will be the frontend, an understanding of backend processes and their integration is key. We will rely on you across the product lifecycle. We understand that engineers, especially senior+ engineers, are problem solvers who think holistically and drive business value, not just coders who work on small-picture tickets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Frontend Focus:You’ll be doing greenfield work on new features, scaling existing functionalities, implementing improved designs and interfaces, and evolving our frontend codebases to improve developer experience and our ability to collaborate across a growing team.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with other engineers to ensure that your implementations seamlessly integrate with backend processes; effectively build and debug alongside our backend, data, and infrastructure engineers. A foundational understanding of full-stack interactions, even if you aren't a full-stack expert, is vital.
- UX Enhancement: While you don't need to be a seasoned designer, you will be tasked with proactive UI/UX improvements. This includes leveraging feedback, staying in tune with design trends, and creating initial mockups to guide development.
- Feature Development: Take initiative in brainstorming and implementing new features, ensuring that our frontend consistently resonates with clients.
- End-to-End Product Involvement: Engage across the product life cycle. This encompasses everything from early-stage ideation and mockup creation to final deployment, ensuring that our frontend continually aligns with evolving customer and business needs.

Where will I work?
We are open to hiring candidates anywhere in the US and intend to continue working as a fully remote team, with occasional in-person strategic planning sessions (1-2x per year). We are deliberately focused on growing a healthy remote culture and using communication tools to support team members in balancing flexibility, productivity, and opportunities for collaboration. For context, internal calls are normally scheduled between 12pm – 4pm ET but can be flexible to support our team’s needs. External calls are scheduled at the needs of the client and are typically between 9am – 6pm ET.
