Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Washington DC
Duration: 1 base year with 2 option years
Qualifications & Experience required:
1. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, and coordination of resources.
2. Knowledge of electronic equipment and computer hardware and software, including data system applications.
3. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing data analysis.
4. Comprehensive understanding of the human resources system databases currently in use at the organization, with knowledge of federal HR regulations, and knowledge of the interrelationship in personnel data files.
5. Understand the cultural climate, the management style, and the mission of the organization and the capability to make use of a variety of software to “automate” recurring reports furnished by the Commission to regulating agencies.
6. At least twelve month experience in federal sector data analysis.
7. Ability to produce timely submissions with a ready understanding of Organization systems shall ensure greater and quicker success in achieving more streamlined and efficient system data quality control measures.
8. Contractor personnel shall have:
a) Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in either an IT field, Mathematics, Economics, or Statistics;
b) Five (5) years’ work experience as a data analyst or in related field;
c) Five (5) years’ work experience handling large data sets and relational databases;
d) Five (5) years’ work experience constructing queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
