RBA is looking for a front facing, customer service focused, positive team-player, with an independent work style to be an integral part of the RBA team.
We want our sellers (clients) to successfully sell their business while feeling totally supported by RBA. Brokering a business sale can be a complicated process and we want to make it as easy as possible for our clients This role performs a variety of administrative, business processes and customer service support functions to clients successfully sell their business.
The duties of this position include providing support and assistance to the Client Advisors – who manage the overall client relationship, and coordinating aspects of the business transaction, from the initial contact with the client (seller) and customer (buyer) to the post-closing activities.
The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, including MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe Acrobat, and to work with a variety of online software tools such as CRM.
The candidate should be detail-oriented, creative, able to take initiative and excel in multi-tasking.
Client Success Manager Job Description
- Maintain confidentiality with sensitive client/prospect information
- Assist the advisors during the transaction process from initial meetings to post-close activities
- Work with the advisors to understand and manage the process of working with buyers, sellers and 3rd parties during an engagement including, but not limited to, buyer screening, due diligence, closing documents and other tasks critical to deals getting closed. There may be times when assistance with other advisors’ requests may be needed.
- Follow up with Sellers to move forward, any questions
- Complete closing check list – and ensure that docs are taken care of
- Maintain regular communication with the advisors on deal activities on daily/weekly basis
- Participate in Seller, Buyer or 3rd party meetings as needed during the deal timelines
- Gather financial information, preparing documents & reports, scheduling appointments, and communicating with all parties involved in the transaction
- Seek efficiencies in process to improve transaction timelines and experience for deal participants
- Update CRM files related to buyers and sellers
- Coordinate with the Marketing Director as needed for transactions
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports as developed
- Perform research for projects for the office as needed
- Edit and create PowerPoints for new engagements o updates as needed
- Work on short, medium, and long-term projects for the office related to transactions

Administration and documentation – 60%
Client calls – proactively and reactively – 25%
Working with advisor – 15%
Success of this role will be determined by:
- Turn-around time for docs for valuation
- How quickly we answer buyer inquiries
- Due diligence – 45 days window after initial docs request filled
- Turn around for docs request from seller
- Complete closing check list
Client Success Manager Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be comfortable working independently in a remote setting
- Proven experience as a business process or project manager in professional, client facing environment.
- Experience with working in a CRM system
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, etc.), Adobe Acrobat, Canva and other
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Schedule: Regular Hours are 9:00am-6:00pm with a one-hour lunch break. Initial training will be virtually
for 30-45 days with 3-5 days in person. Periodic travel will be required.
Reports to the Director of Marketing
Compensation: Base Salary $40,000 - $60,000, commensurate with experience.
Bonuses will be based on team performance.
