Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Redmond, WA that is seeking a Project Manager Non-Tech. Summary: The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc., or any other non-IT based project. Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities
- Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients
Typical Day In The Role
- Market research team that is highly PM oriented is working on a revamp of a research function and is needing addition Project Management assistance
- Contractor will provide business support, manage vendor ecosystem, act proactively on organization and layout of workload
- Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm - Very meeting heavy role, 1/3 of their work will be meeting, and the remainder will be split between heads down work and ad hoc tasks as mentioned in the bullet point above; There will be some ebb and flow throughout their work
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
- Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods
- Basic knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, etc.
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
- Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
