Job Position: Accounts Receivable Clerk

Digital Cinema Distribution Coalition (DCDC) was formed by AMC Theatres, Cinemark Theatres, Regal Entertainment Group, Universal Pictures and Warner Bros. Entertainment to provide the industry with theatrical digital delivery services across North America through a specially created network of next-generation satellite and terrestrial distribution technologies. DCDC supports feature, promotional, pre-show and live content distribution into theaters. The Network is designed to ensure audiences have the highest-quality entertainment experience, while exhibitors and content providers achieve a continuing strategic, secure and cost-effective distribution model that will stand the test of time.
Summary of Position:
This position provides administrative support for both Finance and Operations. Position reports directly to the Financial Controller and CFO, but also assists other DCDC executives as needed. Position requires strong organizational and computer/spreadsheet skills. Must be able to intelligently evaluate issues and exercise excellent judgment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Contact clients as needed to ensure payment of outstanding invoices
- Track and record all receipts accurately in accounting
- Reconcile any irregularities in receipts
- Actively investigate and resolve irregularities in both incoming and outgoing payments
- Work collaboratively with accounts payable and other accounting staff to ensure accuracy in finances
- Generate and deliver reports to different departments as needed
- Prepare and send monthly accounts statements for all customers
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- High School or AA Degree
- Previous studio or entertainment industry experience a plus
Knowledge/Skills:
- Familiarity with industry-standard accounting software, such as Netsuite
- Knowledge of database and spreadsheet software, such as MySQL and Excel
- Relevant experience using modern communication systems, including email and phone systems
- Expert-level experience using productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle potential tense interactions with clients
- A desire and ability to work collaboratively with others to accomplish daily goal
