As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including processing invoices, maintaining vendor files, and conducting financial analysis projects.
Responsibilities
- Create and place purchase orders with vendors in collaboration with operations, ensuring proper internal controls through the procurement process.
- Handle accounts payable for multiple corporate entities, including the verification and processing of invoices.
- Conduct data entry tasks to sort, code, and enter accounts payable data.
- Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices, taking necessary actions to resolve them.
- Maintain vendor files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Distribute employee credit card statements for approval from card holders and managers.
- Conduct audits of expenses to ensure they are related to company activity.
- Provide backup in processing payroll, accounts receivable billings, and cash receipt application when needed.
- Execute financial analysis projects as assigned.
- Perform other general administrative and clerical tasks for the accounting department as required.
