We are hiring a Director, Global Payroll to join our Payroll team, delivering payroll solutions to our clients' employees across the globe. We are looking for a professional with demonstrated expertise with global payroll programs and platforms. You will lead teams in payroll administration in each country globally, managing multiple, transaction volumes, accounting and employee education programs. You will also work with global partners in our Tech, Product, and Operations teams to deliver continuous improvement to our payroll processes and platforms.
You will report to the Vice President of Payroll.
This role is remote - United States but will serve global partners and employees.
You Will:
- Manage and administer global payroll process for our supported employees on behalf of our clients for US, Canada, and LATAM.
- Lead a team of managers and individual contributors focused on payroll delivery for an assigned region or continent.
- Support Global Payroll Transformation team with payroll process and systems projects.
- Implement payroll program administration in new countries, in tandem with local counsel, and develop a framework to support/improve new country development
- Ensure quality control of the record-keeping system for payroll and equity data.
- Ensure the team reconciles transactions, termination dates, tax withholding and reporting, and other items.
- Work with internal and external Legal advisors to stay up to date with international developments and updates to requirements.
- Manage communications with supported employees and clients regarding payroll programs,, annual regulatory filings, and ad hoc updates.
You Have:
- 10+ years in regional payroll administration (global experience preferred).
- 4+ years experience as a people manager.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Expertise in the end-to-end regional payroll process and high level of understanding of general business operations and internal control concepts; ability to assess and contribute to effectiveness of a business process / system change.
- Experience with multiple payroll platforms.
- Experience with basic equity administration, global securities, and tax filings.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and HR systems (ADP experience preferred).
