Fall/Winter Intern Job Description
As an intern, you’ll learn how to operate in a professional work setting, manage small and mid-commercial business accounts, what it takes to close a deal, and generally how the commercial insurance & fintech sector are evolving through the eyes of a startup. We are looking for someone scrappy and creative. We are in a rapid build out phase and are deploying new software to production daily. You should feel comfortable working independently.
To apply for this role, you must be a senior in college graduating in the Spring of 2025 with availability to come into our Midtown NYC office 2-3 days a week. This role is paid and has the ability to convert to full-time upon graduation.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Research and data collection for various projects.
- Attending meetings and taking detailed notes.
- Contributing ideas and suggestions during brainstorming sessions.
- Conducting market research and competitor analysis.
- Social media management and content creation.
- Proofreading documents, such as reports or presentations.
- Creating and editing of marketing materials.
- Providing support in organizing and maintaining files and databases.
- Supporting team members in day-to-day tasks and administrative duties.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program graduating Spring of 2025.
- Strong academic record in a relevant field of study.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software or tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, social media platforms).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
