Job Description
The
Marketing Manager, Special & Strategic Projects develops detailed marketing strategies with budgetary scope, plans & executes the supporting marketing campaigns (with a focus on brands, products and programs), leads the design and production of applicable marketing campaign materials, and drives the initial launch and ongoing marketing support requirements of any special & strategic channel marketing project. This role, depending on the project at hand, will work closely cross-functionality across the organization, with areas such as the expanded marketing team, sales, customer service, training, product, research & development and brand teams to execute best in class marketing campaign for all customers – including, but not limited to distributors, contractors and homeowners. The position will utilize project management tools to track progress toward milestones, budgetary adherence, and other success indicators.
This is a hybrid position serving our
Air Conditioning Division, located in
Dallas, TX or
Fort Smith, AR.
Responsibilities
- Utilize project management expertise to coordinate and manage channel marketing project execution
- Leverage voice-of-customer insights and internal stakeholder collaboration to ensure project delivers optimal customer experience
- Manage budgets, purchase-orders, vendors and project financials
- Coordinate internal/external teams to ensure on-time delivery of assigned projects and tasks while meeting budget targets and achieving design/experiential target
- Liaise with stakeholders and vendor partners to ensure communication and information flow is effective and tasks are completed
- Assist in creative review process to ensure brand guidelines, accuracy and project intent adherence
- Ensure appropriate input from legal counsel, financial and procurement stakeholders as needed
- Assist in creating and delivering content for executive level presentations
- Elevate key concerns / issues for resolution
- Track status and prepare reporting for executive-level review meetings
- Act as working member of the team and assist in administrative tasks and follow-ups
- Other marketing projects and duties as assigned
- Up to 15% annual travel may be required
- Implement processes to document and communicate both project progress risks and provide appropriate mitigation plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Management, Communications or related field
- 7+ years of hands-on marketing experience as the managing leader of channel marketing projects
- Ability to work in a quick-turn results environment while managing multiple projects with varying timelines and requirements
- Experience with project management tools such as Azure or Smartsheet experience
- Strong project management skills including developing timelines, project milestone, status reporting and issue resolution.
- Ability to work cross-functionally internally and with agencies, vendors and global partners as required by the project
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to devote the time to fully comprehend our go-to-market strategy, current product lines, brands and marketing programs
- Experience working across digital and traditional media channels including Web/Display, Paid Social, SEM, and Print and developing integrated marketing campaigns
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite, Adobe, and asset management systems
- Working knowledge of graphic design, digital, print and web design concepts
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in related field
- HVAC or appliances industry experience
