Overview of Plentiful
Plentiful is a non-profit with a mission to accelerate a connected food access ecosystem that centers the needs of the individual. We achieve this by developing inclusive software tools that enable people to find and access the food they need more efficiently and effortlessly. Our technology tools also empower providers and partners to more effectively serve those facing food insecurity. This approach ensures a more dignified experience for everyone involved, leading to more human-centered outcomes.
Our current products include:
- Plentiful: a free, easy-to-use tool for individuals to find, register for, and make reservations at local food pantries, soup kitchens, or other free food events. It is available via SMS or iOS, Android, and web apps in nine languages.
- Plentiful Providers: this platform is for food access points (pantries, soup kitchens, etc.) to connect to the ecosystem. Providers can claim their profile and use tools for efficient line management through registrations or reservations, communicate directly with clients, and see and report on data insights about their program.
Plentiful is looking to grow its impact in Colorado, New York City, and ultimately nationally.
Key Responsibilities
The Community Relations Manager will be primarily responsible for onboarding and training community food pantries and food access providers to Plentiful. The role will be responsible for achieving concrete growth targets and Key Performance Indicators as related to product adoption and ongoing customer success. Responsibilities include:
- Lead onboarding of Plentiful Providers among identified food access organizations across Colorado including:
- In-person and virtual onboarding, training, and product orientations with pantry staff and volunteers
- Track success metrics and prepare internal updates on success indicators
- Lead change management on the ground to support community members and pantries to adopt new features (e.g., reservations via the Plentiful app, etc.), ensuring a positive experience
- Provide information and guidance on using Plentiful tools, ensuring users understand and can fully utilize features
- Support gathering feedback from users through surveys, interviews, and workshops to understand their needs and experiences
- Contribute to creating and updating community activation and relations materials- including FAQs, tutorials, and other onboarding resources
- Support efforts to drive the adoption of Plentiful among community members experiencing food insecurity including reviewing copy for Facebook and Google Ads, monitoring performance metrics for incoming users from these ads, and supporting client intake with partners
- Maintain detailed records of outreach and onboarding activities, including customer interactions and feedback in company’s CRM and other internal tools
- Report software issues and contribute to identifying potential new features based on customer feedback
- Assist in the planning and execution of in-person and virtual workshops and training sessions for new and existing users
Qualifications:
An ideal candidate will bring:
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial drive and creativity
- Familiarity with Metro Denver’s charitable food community and key stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to quickly identify a path forward in complex situations
- Comfort with navigating basic database interfaces (e.g., Metabase) and spreadsheets
- High comfort supporting and troubleshooting technical issues with pantry partners
- Experience and comfort working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and economic advantage/disadvantage
- Experience working in a social service setting with organizations of varied levels of sophistication
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to devote 40 hours a week on this work
- Ability and willingness to travel to sites across Metro Denver
- Ability and willingness to occasionally work on weekends
- Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred

Additional details:
Location: Work from home with regular travel throughout Metro Denver.
Compensation: This is a full time, exempt position. The salary range is $70,000 - $85,000 and commensurate with experience. Benefits (e.g., time off, health insurance, etc.) are also available.
