Job Description:
Client’s intercity Fleet Program is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to redefine U.S. intercity passenger rail travel through the replacement of passenger equipment, including modifying maintenance and operating practices with a state-of-the-art rolling stock solutions. The Fleet Program is already underway and has ambitious schedules that must be achieved to ensure fleet reliability and the creation of new capacity to expand service nationwide, both of which will ultimately enhance customer satisfaction. The Fleet Program is also part of Client’s newly created Capital Delivery organization and will set the standard for project management for complex capital projects.

The Project Manager – Organizational Change Management (OCM) is responsible for managing moderate complexity projects or a medium size component of a larger project or program. Individuals in this role use technical knowledge and related OCM experience to plan and coordinate the OCM effort for a mega size program with supervision from a senior level Program or Portfolio Manager. Normal duties can include development and maintenance of OCM artifacts, developing and maintaining stakeholder and communications plans, and interacting with a variety of audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use change management methodologies to support organizational change initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a change management plan through the life of the assigned program.
- Development and implement comprehensive communication strategies and plans that utilize various channels.
- Clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Coordinate deliverables against the communications plan and craft clear messaging.
- Serve as a connector and engage with stakeholders to identify and socialize impacts of decisions and/or changes within assigned projects, across the greater program, and throughout the company.
- Successfully establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external resources and key project stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain required change management artifacts.
Required Skills & Work Experience
- Working knowledge of and experience in organizational change management.
- Strong oral and written communication skills across all levels with a focus on collaboration, team building, presentations, and customer service.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience with working on cross-functional teams.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project),
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of professional management experience, or any equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Must have authorization to work in the United States

- Previous experience with project management.
