Neuehealth is seeking a skilled and experienced Desktop Administrator III to join our Service Desk team. This individual will serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues and assist with both level 2 and level 3 support, playing a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure Virtual Desktops (AVDs), Azure, and Intune, and will work closely with our cloud infrastructure to support and optimize the AVD environment.
This is a remote position & preferred locations for applicants are CA & AZ
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues within the service desk team.
- Provide advanced support for level 2 and level 3 issues, particularly within Azure Virtual Desktops (AVDs), Azure, and Intune environments.
- Collaborate closely with the cloud infrastructure team to resolve issues related to AVD and ensure the seamless operation of cloud-based services.
- Assist with employee onboarding and termination processes, including account setup, hardware configuration, and software installations.
- Monitor and maintain desktop infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Utilize ticketing systems, such as Fresh Service, to manage and track support requests and resolutions.
- Provide exceptional customer support, ensuring timely and effective communication with end users.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide training and guidance to junior service desk staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to recommend improvements and upgrades to our IT systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a desktop support or similar role, with at least 2 years in an advanced or escalation capacity.
- Proficiency with Azure Virtual Desktops (AVDs), Azure, and Intune.
- Experience with RightFax and EZ-CAP systems.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, virtualization technologies, and the integration of these systems within a desktop environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools and practices.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation) are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms and services.
- Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell).
- Knowledge of networking principles and infrastructure.
For individuals assigned to a location(s) in California, NeueHealth is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity. A reasonable estimate of the range is $27.00 - $40.00 Hourly.
