### Key Responsibilities
- Uphold policies and procedures to ensure quality care for patients.
- Collaborate on the development of standards for safe and effective service delivery.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to promote skill development and performance improvement.
- Work with leadership to develop staffing patterns and maximize personnel utilization.
- Participate in the recruitment and orientation of new nursing staff.
- Assist in policy development to meet regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary team services and collaborate with community agencies.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all aspects of work.
- Engage in continuing education and share knowledge.
- Contribute to quality assurance initiatives and patient care planning.
- Ensure necessary supplies and equipment are available for patient care.
- Support staffing assignments and be available for on-call duties when needed.
### Working Environment
The role is primarily office-based but may require travel to patient homes for care support.
### Job Relationships
- **Supervised by**: Director of Nursing
- **Supervises**: Nursing staff, hospice aides, medical social workers, chaplain/spiritual care staff, and volunteer coordinators.
### Physical Requirements
- Participation in physical activity and the ability to stand for extended periods.
- Moderate lifting and bending as required for patient care.
### Employment Details
- Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
- Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000 per year
- Expected Hours: 20 - 40 hours per week
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
- Work Location: Hybrid remote in Santa Fe, NM
