Summary:
Medical Sales College (MSC) is seeking a motivated, detail oriented, and analytic Marketing Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an eager and motivated marketing professional early in their career to gain valuable experience in several core marketing disciplines. You will work closely with both the marketing team and agency partners on various projects, contributing to our overall growth strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Project Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating marketing projects, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are completed.
- Content and Copywriting: Create compelling content for blogs, social media, newsletters, and other marketing materials. Write engaging copy that resonates with our target audience.
- Email Marketing: Assist in creating and sending marketing emails to segmented lists, ensuring email lists are up to date and compliant and copy is on message and grammatically correct.
- Presentations: Develop and design presentations for internal and external stakeholders, showcasing our marketing strategies, campaigns, and results.
- Social Media Support: Assist in the management of our social media channels, including content scheduling, posting, and engagement with our audience.
- Campus Support: Provide assistance to our campus network through tasks including creative design, printing, and event support.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including organizing files, maintaining marketing databases, coordinating meetings, and keeping meeting minutes.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Suite.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok).
- Basic knowledge of marketing principles and digital marketing tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Creativity and a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Experience with a CRM system (e.g., Hubspot, Dynamics, Salesforce)
- Previous internship or work experience in marketing is a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO and content marketing strategies.
