Project Coordinator to join their team for an
8-month contract!

Role
As a
Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for organizing and maintaining the smooth execution of projects across multiple departments. You will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and team members to ensure that project milestones are achieved on time, within scope, and budget. Your role will include managing schedules, coordinating resources, tracking progress, and facilitating communication among stakeholders. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and fostering team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, including task assignments, timelines, and milestones.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, stakeholders, and clients to provide updates on project status, changes, and progress.
- Maintain project documentation such as status reports, meeting minutes, project plans, and risk registers.
- Ensure that project resources are properly allocated and available as needed, coordinating across departments to secure necessary resources for project execution.
- Monitor and track project issues, risks, and changes, working with the Project Manager to mitigate potential issues before they impact the project timeline or deliverables.
- Assist in monitoring project budgets, expenditures, and financial variances to ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
- Organize and coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and following up on action items.
- Work with project stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure that all project deliverables are completed to their satisfaction.
- Assist in ensuring that all project deliverables meet quality standards before final submission or release.
- Prepare regular status reports and dashboards for the Project Manager, stakeholders, and leadership teams, summarizing project progress, risks, and issues.
Skills And Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in project coordination or a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in project management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Asana).
- Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of financial tracking and budget management is a plus.
Education And Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.
