Qualifications
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
- 7+ years’ experience in Accounting and Corporate Finance
- Knowledge of current Cost Accounting methods
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close
- Ability to manage multiple projects and objectives and respond quickly to accounting support requests from the various departments
- ERP Knowledge (Epicor experience a plus)
- Advanced MS Excel skills (V-Lookup Formulas, Pivot, SUMIFS, Tables etc.)
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for day-to-day general ledger accounting and reporting.
- Reconcile Balance Sheet Accounts including Bank, Inventory Accounts for Raw Materials, Work-In-Process (WIP), prepaids, Accrual etc.
- Lead and coordinate the annual development of standard costs in ERP system by working with Supply Chain, Mfg. Engineering groups.
- Report and analyze manufacturing variances: Labor, Overhead, Absorption, Material Usage, Scrap, PPV, and all other production variances.
- Monitor Discrepant Material Returns (DMR) to Vendors and Return to Stock Materials(RTS).
