Job Description
The Vice President of Operations and Strategy is a key executive responsible for driving the operational efficiency and strategic growth of the organization. This role involves developing and implementing operational policies and strategies that align with the company’s long-term goals, optimizing resources, and ensuring the smooth and effective execution of day-to-day operations. The VP of Operations and Strategy will work closely with senior leadership to shape and execute the company’s vision and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
- Define and implement operations strategy, structure, and processes. Develop and execute the company’s strategic plan in collaboration with the COO/ CFO and senior leadership team
- Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscape to drive strategic decisions
- Set long-term goals and performance metrics to guide the organization’s strategic direction
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operations across various departments, ensuring efficiency, quality, and productivity
- Implement best practices, streamline processes, and enhance operational systems to meet organizational goals
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions to address operational challenges
Financial Oversight:
- Manage the operational budget and ensure cost-effective operations
- Develop financial forecasts and performance reports to support strategic decision-making
- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with operations
Process Improvement:
- Continuously assess and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Implement innovative solutions and technologies to optimize operations
- Drive change management initiatives to support organizational transformation
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, HR, Finance) to align strategies and ensure cohesive execution
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams to achieve organizational objectives
- Drive the successful performance and delivery of the organization – lead and drive execution across the programs and products development/production including
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in operations management, strategic planning, or a related senior leadership role within a growing global enterprise software SaaS company. Cybersecurity industry experience is a plus
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful operational and strategic initiatives. Demonstrated leadership experience holding teams accountable while fostering a positive growth oriented culture
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization
- Experience in managing budgets and financial performance
- Familiarity with industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements. Prior operational experience with M&A

Compensation Transparency
$200,000 - $250,000 USD
Please note that the annual base salary range is a guideline and, for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location, as well as, knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for benefits, and may be eligible for a bonus and/or equity.
