Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of PMO, the role requires a PM specializing in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Implementation, with a proven track record in managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Expertise in Workday software is essential, including experience with Workday HCM, Financial Management, and other Workday modules. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, and a deep understanding of business processes and change management.
Key Accountabilities
- Proven experience (10 plus years) as an ERP Project Manager and seeking 5+ years experience with Workday.
- Develop and manage project plans, project schedules, status reporting and budgets
- Ensure the project adheres to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately
- Push strategic initiatives forward to the point of successful implementation with necessary stakeholder engagement and buy-in
- Detailed reporting of project status, milestones, dependencies, risk and issue definition, resolution and/or mitigation, cost and benefit analysis, and executive support needed
- Coordinate resources for the flawless execution of projects (on time, within scope, within budget)
- Provide input to simplification of processes to focus on higher efficiencies, stronger controls, increased profitability and an improved customer journey
- Interact with Senior Management to clearly articulate project priorities ensuring optimal solutions are in place to achieve strategic objectives
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Specialty in ERP implementation with extensive Workday experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field of study, or equivalent experience
- Lean Six Sigma, Agile and/or PMP considered a strong asset
- Ability to analyze situations fully and accurately and reach productive decisions
- Strong communication and presentation skills with proven ability to focus on the detail
- Ability to effectively manage multiple activities while under tight time constraints
- Ability to work independently but know when to make decisions and when to seek input from others
- Ability to establish collaborative relationships with multiple key stakeholders
- Ability to work within an ambiguous and matrixed environment
- Demonstrated planning and prioritization abilities
- Experience in financial services considered a strong asset
- Change management experience an asset
