# Position Summary
We are looking for a Project Manager to oversee Job Order Contracts and/or work orders in the Pompano Beach area. This role involves working closely with the Regional Operations Manager or Vice President to ensure successful project execution and maintain strong client and team relationships.
# Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction contracts and/or work orders from inception to completion.
- Supervise the designated project team working on contracts and/or work orders.
- Collaborate with other Project Managers as needed.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of Superintendents on contracts and/or work orders.
- Develop and review work proposals, negotiate financial disputes, and manage change orders with clients.
- Act as the primary administrative contact for the project owner.
- Oversee project scope, cost reports, and any changes affecting project completion or budget.
- Create and implement field quality assurance and quality control plans.
- Collaborate with Superintendents on project safety plans.
- Ensure compliance with MBE/WBE subcontracting and EEO/Affirmative action contract requirements.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
# Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or 10 years of relevant construction experience.
- At least 6 years of experience managing construction projects.
- Preferred experience managing Job Order Contract projects.
- Familiarity with eGordian and/or RSMeans is advantageous.
- Capacity to handle multiple projects and personnel simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of construction, design, cost reporting, and cash flow management.
- Proficiency in Project Management and Scheduling Software.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
