This is an excellent opportunity for an experience IT Consultant to add an additional client to their portfolio. This person will step in to complete some initial high-priority, high impact projects and then performance ongoing maintenance and updates for our client's IT environment.

What you will be doing:
- File System Management: Manage file system access, security, and permissions across the organization. Ensure compliance with organizational standards and address file duplication issues and corrupted files.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery: Implement and manage robust backup and disaster recovery plans, ensuring data integrity and availability. This includes the migration of .pst files and backup solutions using Synology NAS.
- Cloud Administration: Administer and manage Microsoft Office 365, including Azure, Active Directory, OneDrive, and Teams. Handle migrations, upgrades, and license management (excluding Enterprise licenses), and troubleshoot synchronization issues between OneDrive and Dropbox.
- Synology NAS Installation and Management: Install and configure a new Synology data storage server (8TB RAID 5 with 4 SSDs). Ensure compatibility with the current network provider, secure data entry, and manage ongoing operations.
- Security Management: Oversee the implementation of antivirus, malware, and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions. Ensure the secure configuration of network appliances, including firewall devices, and manage security software, including password vaults (e.g., KeePass).
What you will need:
- 5+ years of information technology experience
- Ability to commute to Miami, FL when device configurations are needed
