Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Telehealth Registered Nurse (RN) Program Manager to support the Global Nurse Advice Line (NAL) proposal team for a government contract. The NAL is an essential 24/7 service that provides telehealth triage, self-care advice, and general health information to beneficiaries of the Military Health System (MHS). This role involves enhancing care coordination and customer service for military treatment facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- **Leadership:** Supervise and lead a team of healthcare professionals by utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- **Program Oversight:** Implement nurse triage programs by identifying resources, allocating them appropriately, and making necessary adjustments.
- **Planning:** Develop and implement detailed plans for effective program execution, ensuring all components are well-defined and actively monitored.
- **Performance Monitoring:** Track and report program performance metrics to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
- **Quality Care:** Guarantee high standards of patient care and quality assurance within call center operations.
- **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and guidelines across all programs and activities.
- **Collaboration:** Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of healthcare programs and projects.
- **Staff Management:** Assist in the recruitment, training, development, and evaluation of nursing staff.
- **Operations Management:** Oversee call center operations, including education and monitoring as needed.
- **Customer Service:** Serve as a liaison to promote exceptional customer service through consistent and timely communication.
Requirements
- A minimum of **15 years** experience in healthcare call centers or nurse advice lines.
- At least **5 years** of supervisory or leadership experience in nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- Active RN license in any U.S. state, commonwealth, or District of Columbia.
- Master's degree in healthcare administration, business management, nursing, or a related field is preferred.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
Additional Information
This position is contingent upon contract award, client approval, successful background checks, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust/High-Risk clearance.
