Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Representative to join our team. This role will be based in Austin, Texas, but offers the flexibility of remote work. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our market presence, driving sales growth, and building strong client relationships within the energy and utilities sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional sales targets and drive revenue growth. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, including utility companies, industrial clients, and governmental agencies. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and support.
- Market Analysis: Conduct research to stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Use insights to refine sales strategies and enhance product offerings.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations tailored to client needs. Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience and effective problem resolution.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Track sales activities, manage pipeline status, and gather client feedback. Provide regular reports and forecasts to management on sales performance and market conditions.
- Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-10 years of sales experience in the energy, utilities, or a related industry. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of energy and utility markets, including industry trends, regulations, and technologies.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
- Location: Based in Austin, Texas, with the ability to work remotely. Must be comfortable with remote work and occasional travel within the region.
