Responsibilities
Kforce's client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to lead product lifecycle and development initiatives for their services and applications. This role requires a deep understanding of product development processes, particularly within the cable or telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will excel in translating high-level strategic goals into actionable plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving product enhancements that align with both technical requirements and user needs. Responsibilities:
- Subject Matter Expertise (SME): Serve as the SME for key functionalities; Gather and analyze cases defining client and internal employee issues to gain a comprehensive understanding of the problems
- Problem Analysis and Metrics: Identify core problems, link them to relevant metrics, and perform analytics to assess the impact and implications of these issues; Ensure data-driven decision-making through effective interpretation of data from Excel and Tableau
- Success Metrics Definition: Establish clear success metrics before product launches; Post-launch, analyze the impact and evaluate the product's success against these metrics
- Opportunity Identification: Identify new areas of opportunity for improvement or development based on product success and insights from analysis
- Collaboration with Architecture and Design: Work closely with architecture and design teams to ensure solutions meet both technical requirements and user needs
- Post-Launch Analysis: Develop and present post-launch analysis slides summarizing the product's performance, key metrics, and insights, highlighting areas for improvement and future opportunities
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working with digital platforms, specifically websites and portals. Mobile app experience is not relevant for this role
- 3+ years of experience in a strategic role focused on vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap planning; Experience should include leading or contributing to high-level strategic initiatives
- Product Management and Ownership: Experience in both Product Management (PM) and Product Ownership (PO) roles with significant strategic responsibilities
- Executive Communication Skills: Proven experience in executive-level communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex ideas and strategies to senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical background with a metrics-driven approach; Proven experience in using data to drive decision-making and measure performance; Tableau experience is highly preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Analytics
- Background in telecommunications
- Preference for candidates with corporate experience; startup experience alone may not provide the necessary context for this role
Nice To Have
- Experience in developing short and long-term product roadmaps
- Customer-centric thinking with clear and concise communication skills
- Strong executive presentation skills with proficiency in PowerPoint
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst (BA)
- Experience in agile programs, working alongside a PO or with previous PO experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
