Typical Day in the Role
• Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is providing business support for a large identity and security team, total headcount around 2,800.
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of a weekly breakdown of: 10% prepping for meetings, 30% running meetings, 10% email and communications, 20% data analysis, 30% project management.
Candidate Requirements
• Years of Experience Required: 5-7 overall years of experience in the field.
Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain a significant background in project management, especially working with large products focusing on online security. The best candidate also has strong Communication and Follow-Up skills
• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on project completion and quality of work through status reports.

2. Minimum 5 years’ experience with Project management (previous product knowledge especially in online security preferred).
3. Minimum 5 years’ experience with Data Analysis (any software that uses pivot tables).
4. Minimum 5 years’ experience with Budgeting and Rhythm of Business.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Non-Tech Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong adaptability, agility, analytical skills, and budgeting expertise, along with proficiency in business analysis, communications, business intelligence, and change management. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively plan, direct, and coordinate activities in various fields, such as engineering, research and development, financial systems, product rollouts, or other non-IT based projects. The candidate will play a critical role in driving organizational success through strategic planning and effective management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Coordination:
o Develop detailed plans to accomplish project goals and direct the integration of technical activities.
o Coordinate with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
o Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to support data-driven decisions.
o Support business operations continuity during change or special circumstances, managing daily operations, planning team activities, and attending key meetings.
• Strategic Planning & Analysis:
o Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to assess the feasibility of projects.
o Conduct business analysis to identify needs and devise solutions, including software systems development, process improvement, or strategic planning.
o Synthesize findings and link them to broader strategic efforts for thought leadership.
• Budgeting & Financial Management:
o Develop and manage project budgets, including forecasting and financial reporting.
o Utilize departmental procedures and reporting systems to establish and track accurate financial budgets.
o Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
• Change Management:
o Define and implement procedures and technologies to manage and adapt to change within the business environment.
o Develop strategies to control and influence changes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Communication & Leadership:
o Communicate effectively with staff, stakeholders, clients, and others through various media, including reports, memos, and presentations.
o Recruit, assign, direct, and evaluate employees, overseeing the development and maintenance of staff competence.
o Engage with diverse audiences and tailor communication styles accordingly to drive alignment and success.
• Special Projects & Business Operations:
o Contribute to cross-team projects to meet changing business environments and engage in project management efforts.
o Collaborate with partners and teams to ensure alignment in strategy execution and prepare business cases for leadership.
o Support the annual budget process and manage organizational headcount.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Core Skills:
o Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
o Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and strategic business management principles.
o Proficiency in business intelligence, including creating dashboards, testing systems, and defining KPIs.
o Proficient with computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, etc.
• Experience:
o 5-7 years of experience in project management or business management roles, particularly in non-IT related fields such as engineering, research and development, or financial systems.
o Proven experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, human resources, or business-related roles.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• 2+ years of additional experience in financial management, strategy, or business operations.
