Compensation for this full time position is $74,360 - $91,000 DOE. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate's salary history at other jobs, and by law, BGV will not seek information about salary history or applicant age. This position also includes BGV's Total Compensation package.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include Without Limitation
This position is responsible for creating, modifying, testing, and debugging core application, custom SQL, and Database Architecture for SSRS reporting and Tableau extracts.

Responsibilities Including, But Not Limited To
- Work to devise and/or modify procedures to solve complex user problems and will participate in design and coding meetings with other developers and end users, as needed.
- Drive consistency, reliability, and repeatability in SQL development to ensure stability and a single source of truth for enterprise wide reporting and analytics needs.
- Develop new objects and systems with an emphasis on re-usability and minimal maintenance requirements, as well as maintain and enhance existing code and systems.
- Participate in design and development meetings with other developers and end users for the purposes of designing and implementing new objects and/or systems.
- Design, develop and implement test plans to accurately test the application code, functions, modules, and program and work to arrive at solutions that combine the data architecture and application code for optimal outcomes and solutions.
- Partner with IT Operations staff, Systems Administrator and Business Analyst Project Manager to architect and implement these technical solutions to business requirements.
- Understand SQL Server Reporting Services and develop and maintain SSRS reports as needed.
- Become familiar with all BGV SQL databases needed to write queries, stored procedures, and other data analysis.
- In taking the approach of designing “the right” solution, the BSA balances cost, value and time when determining whether to develop new functionality or extend the functionality of existing systems.
- Ensure smooth flow of information between users and data. Make sure data systems are always working and correct. Be alert and proactive to projects that need to be done. Including future projects.
- Write custom reports as needed and/or write “one-off” queries to SQL databases for data analysis as needed.
- Maintains Tableau Server settings, users and groups, and all content assets, such as projects, data sources, and workbooks to monitor and maintain overall server health for BGV reporting and analytics needs
- Understand CRM database structures and environments such as Salesforce to leverage and combine data between applications systems for reporting and analytics use
- Attend, participate in, and supports monthly GVS training session and department staff meetings.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: These qualifications are required to be considered for this position:
- Strong understanding of RDBMS, SQL, Security and the MSSQL Server Product Lineage.
- Experience with and/or knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio .Net 2k3,2k5,2k8,2k10.
- Experience with and/or knowledge of Microsoft Business Intelligence Studio (BIDS) including SSIS, SSRS.
- Understanding of portable Data Objects such as XML and JSON.
- Working Knowledge of DevOps concepts, cloud strategies for software development
- Working knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment strategies and Source Control
- Working knowledge of a source code management system.
- Knowledge of multi-source/destination SSIS Interfaces.
- Active Directory management concepts.
- Strong understanding of security concepts at the application and system levels.
- Knowledge of Tableau Server Administration and best practices
- Use Advanced Excel capabilities, including pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, and VBA
