Job Title: Data Ops/General Analytics
Type: FTE
Location: Remote
Mandatory: CPG/Retail/Ecommerce
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Utilize data analytics tools and methodologies to conduct in-depth assessments and generate analytical reports.
- Discover, analyze, and scope data requirements & representing them in conceptual and logical data models
- Gather and analyze data pertaining to various business processes such as forecasts, ecommerce, inventory, pricing and promotion, store profile, e-commerce data to develop channel models.
- Create high-level process models (system interface diagrams, workflow & swim lane diagrams, data flow diagrams) to represent processes for the area under analysis
- Empower the business by creating value through the increased adoption of data, data science and business intelligence landscape.
- Responsible to improve the quality of data in relation to defined expectations
- Perform analysis of system data to identify patterns, exceptions, and erroneous data.
For Manager Level:
- Experience in leading high performance data analytics teams to deliver impact.
- Motivate team to deliver high quality output and quality check team output.
- Ability to present data driven insights to stakeholders
- Synthesize and present findings to senior client management.
- Good understanding of CPG/Retail/Ecommerce products and services
Skills Required:
- Experience working with structured/unstructured datasets, ability to clearly document and communicate requirements to technical team members.
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau (preferred) and Power BI
- Experience with Programming tools such as SQL, Python, Pyspark or R
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, computer science or related field. Master’s degree in tech or in management is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience with data analysis & data profiling in project preferably in CPG or Manufacturing Industry or Retail or Ecommerce
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, computer science or related field. Master’s degree in tech or in management is a plus.
- 3+ years of proven data analytics experience.
- Experience in CPG/Retail/Ecommerce is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset toward problem-solving.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
For Manager Level
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics. Experience in business development is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in leading teams
