The Merchandise Assistant assists the Buying office with go-to-market preparation, vendor communications, inventory management, price changes, and ad hoc analysis support. The position requires frequent communication with other members of the buying team as well as with vendors, stores and customers.

Responsibilities
- PO creation, maintenance and troubleshooting
- Maintain PO log and issue POs to vendors
- Transcribe vendor line sheets into order buy sheets
- Menu item creation in Dutchie
- Monitoring inventory levels
- Manage in-bound receipts in partnership with store inventory teams
- Build strong relationships with store teams and vendor community
- Interface with store visual merchandising teams to ensure product displays are relevant and compelling
- Liaise with vendors and internal teams to coordinate vendor product trainings
- Regularly interact with customers and staff at each location to keep abreast of customer needs
- Weekly reporting and recaps (e.g. Running best seller reports, weekly recaps, assist with data analysis)
- Assist buying teams with various projects and presentations
