**Role Overview**
We are expanding our intellectual property team and seeking an experienced and motivated individual to support the management and maintenance of global patent, trademark, and copyright records. This role necessitates collaboration with attorneys, paralegals, and global team leaders to ensure effective management of our intellectual property portfolio.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **IP Portfolio Management:** Oversee and update the global IP docketing database for accuracy and completeness.
- **Docket Reports:** Prepare and review reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to manage timelines for required responses and actions.
- **Correspondence Handling:** Analyze, interpret, and docket correspondence according to applicable laws and regulations; track and follow up on instructions and responses at a global level.
- **Specialty Reports:** Create specialized reports to meet specific informational needs, including quarterly updates for executive leadership.
- **Training:** Provide training on the IP docketing database to team members worldwide.
- **Document Management:** Maintain up-to-date files and save relevant communications to the database and network drive.
**Qualifications**
- Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience or training in intellectual property.
- Extensive knowledge of U.S. and international patent and trademark docketing rules and regulations.
- Proficiency in IP docketing software, especially CPI (Computer Packages Inc.).
- Familiarity with tools such as Patent Center, ePCT, Europe Patent Register, WIPO PatentScope, TSDR, and CIPO trademark database.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Professional, and OneDrive.
- Strong communication, writing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to interpret documentation related to intellectual property and stay updated on global IP laws.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities, with attention to detail.
- Flexibility with work hours.
**Compensation and Benefits**
Compensation is influenced by geographical location and experience. This position is included in the Annual Performance Bonus Plan and features benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) savings plan, flexible spending accounts, and employee assistance programs.
