Client Development Manager

The Impact you Will Have:
As the Client Development Manager at Crucial Learning, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our organization. By leading a team of Client Development Representatives, you will be instrumental in expanding our client base and ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified leads. Your strategic direction and hands-on coaching will directly impact our ability to reach more individuals and organizations with our transformative training solutions, ultimately helping clients achieve lasting behavioral change and improved performance. Your contributions will be key in positioning Crucial Learning as a leader in the professional development space.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage a team of Client Development Representatives (CDRs) to ensure they meet daily, weekly, and monthly lead generation and qualification targets.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives to increase lead generation and drive customer acquisition.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to optimize campaigns, messaging, and content that align with sales objectives.
- Monitor and analyze CDR performance metrics, providing regular feedback and coaching to improve effectiveness and productivity.
- Oversee Salesforce, ensuring accurate data entry, pipeline management, and reporting on key sales metrics.
- Identify and target potential clients through research, networking, and leveraging existing relationships within the training and coaching industry.
- Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to continuously develop the skills of the CDR team in prospecting, qualification, and closing techniques.
- Work closely with the sales and account management teams to ensure smooth handoffs of qualified leads and support overall sales cycle efficiency.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
What You’ll Need:
- Proven experience in sales development, lead generation, or inside sales, with at least 3-5 years in a management or leadership role.
- Strong track record of driving and exceeding sales targets through effective team management and strategic planning.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales automation tools, with a focus on data analysis and reporting.
- Background in the training, professional coaching, or education industry is highly preferred, with a solid understanding of B2B sales cycles.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and refine sales development strategies that align with overall business objectives.
- Proven leadership skills, including hiring, training, coaching, and motivating a high-performing sales team.
- Strong comfort using MS Office products.
- The ability to attend at least 1-2 in person event per year.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
