POSITION TITLE: Senior Graphic Designer
OBJECTIVES:
- Design digital images and other types of marketing materials
- Contribute to layout, typography, and photography decisions
- Develop and design brand identities from concept through completion
- Conduct market research
- Take direction from the Creative Director and Managing Partners
- Exceed client expectations
- Adhere to project deadlines
It is the responsibility of the Senior Graphic Designer to not only to exhibit legendary customer service when communicating with clients, employees, and other personnel, but to also focus on productivity and results.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Senior Graphic Designer
- Produce attractive and effective designs for all media
- Ability to produce consistent quality design deliverables regardless of project size
- Create a brand from ideation to full brand identity, including logos, color palettes, typography, and consistent visual styles
- Design packaging that aligns with brand identity, from concept to final product, ensuring it meets market standards and communicates value effectively
- Manage creative projects from inception to production
- Edit illustrations using design programs
- Correct color or other small issues using design programs
- Design small elements of a larger project
- Build advertising compositions
- Upload designs to websites
- Write some copy to accompany graphics
- Ability to create signage, banners, and work with printing vendors
- Create promotional materials for the Marketing and Events departments
- Create drafts of social media posters, banners, flyers, etc. for approval by the Creative Director
- Provide creative support to team members throughout the execution of campaigns and projects
- Work with cross-functional teams to establish and articulate internal and external key messages, and ensure that content is aligned accordingly
- Maintain and update creative content on Plant. Body. Soul. website
- Help develop and oversee creative content for Plant. Body. Soul. monthly newsletter
General
- Share ideas and offer constructive input at creative meetings
- Effectively communicate with management, team members, and clients
- Provide and accept constructive feedback from a multidisciplinary team
REQUIREMENTS & PROFICIENCIES:
Education
Bachelor Degree in Graphic Communications or Visual Design preferred
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years experience working on design teams
- Minimum 1-2 years of branding and packaging experience
- 1 or more years of cannabis/hemp industry experience preferred
- Maricopa County resident is preferred
- The ability to meet deadlines in a high pressure environment
- Strong project management, decision-making, and multitasking skills

Rate
$40 per hour / up to 30 hours a week to start
Location
Mostly remote but may need to be able to be in-person for special projects
