Job Description
As the Digital Activation Team Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role within the Go-to-Market Operations and Technology team of our client's Consumer Group. The Digital Activation Team is responsible for the systems, processes, and strategic use of data across marketing and analytics, including digital audiences, personalization, data integrations, and web analytics.
In this position, you will be a subject matter expert on the available marketing data in our client's Customer Data Platform (CDP) and work closely with various stakeholders, including strategy, advertising, legal, engineering, product management, marketing technology, analytics, and agency partners. Your primary focus will be to enable marketing data and build accurate audiences in foundational platforms such as the CDP, LiveRamp, Google, Meta, and other digital media properties.
You will be responsible for project managing and tracking the execution of marketing audiences and data requirements, effectively identifying risks, communicating, escalating, and driving them to closure. Additionally, you will partner with stakeholders to define business strategies that leverage existing capabilities and identify gaps for product roadmap consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on available marketing data in the CDP and partner with marketing channels to plan for new data needs
- Ensure data onboarding teams prioritize the marketing data required for campaign launches
- Build accurate marketing audiences on schedule across multiple channels
- Understand the data onboarding processes, including all technologies, and collaborate to onboard data as needed
- Project manage and track the execution of marketing audiences and data requirements
- Effectively identify risks, communicate, escalate, and drive them to closure
- Partner with stakeholders to define business strategies that leverage existing capabilities and identify gaps for product roadmap consideration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and agency partners to drive consistent end-to-end experiences for customers and prospects
Required Experience/Skills
- 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, data management, or a similar role
- Proficient in the use of Customer Data Platforms (CDP), data integration platforms, and digital marketing tools
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and departments
- Attention to detail and ability to execute tasks accurately and on time
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address risks and challenges
- Understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in the financial technology or consumer software industry
- Knowledge of data governance and audience management best practices
- Familiarity with the company's product portfolio or similar financial software
- Certification in marketing technology platforms or data management
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field
