ABOUT POSITIONThe Marketing Coordinator is the multi-faceted job of your early career dreams. Your true north will be to support the brand building of BOXFOX as we enter our 2nd decade and a new and exciting era! From content creation, editing, writing, strategy, and analysis, this role enables our entire team and customers alike to champion our brand consistently and creatively. You’ll get to wear a lot of different hats: you’ll both support marketing partners and own your own deliverables, all while getting to sit at the intersection of left and right brain pursuits.
As Marketing Coordinator, you should showcase excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and be able to identify and quickly solve problems. You should be the type of person who can style a random iPhone photo on the go, feel comfortable throwing creative spaghetti at the wall, and be the brand’s biggest champion (besides the founders, of course).
The areas where you will learn, grow, and contribute:
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with team to execute weekly, monthly and quarterly content calendars
- Live and breathe social - thrives off creating content and communications that provide value to our audience and genuinely connect with them
- Day-to-day management of BOXFOX social media channels (Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok)
- Plan, create, edit and publish engaging written, photo and video content
- Stay current (or even ahead) of current social media trends and be able to adapt quickly
- Drive asset creation and organization for digital marketing, email and SMS
- Proactively and enthusiastically engage with online community
- Occasionally help with research for paid channel strategy
- Monitor analytics and support in creating reports for leadership
- Support with ad hoc marketing projects and initiatives, like concentrated influencer campaigns and events and events
- Regularly assist with on-site e-commerce product photography creation
- Own all asset trafficking and organization on Google Drive
- Lead photoshoot preparation with support from various departments
- Demonstrates innovation, creativity and thoughtful integration through all work product
ABOUT YOU
- 1-2 years of professional work experience
- B.A. from 4-year university required
- You’re a self starter — we’re there to answer questions and train you, but you keep the ball rolling!
- You are curious — Analytical, enthusiastic, solutions-oriented, with a strong attention to detail.
- You (preferably) have experience in a start up, entrepreneurial or growth minded environment.
- You have a good eye for design and presentation.
- Solid knowledge of Google Suite specifically Gmail
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (Figma, Sketch, Canva, Adobe) and video editing software (CapCut)
- Must have excellent punctuality, attendance, and reliability
- Understands the grass is green where you water it
- Nice handwriting a major plus
