Purpose of job
SALI a JTC Company is looking to expand our Reports Department team. The Reports team is responsible for capture data and information for the SALI organization while working closely with the Accounting Department and external parties.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Responsible for capturing financial/investment data funds and entering information to support accounting team allowing for successful monthly close process.
- Gather Tracks and monitors high-volume inbox from investment data portals distributing information and data to various internal and external parties and keep all parties updated on the close process.
- Assist the accounting team with missing data or any discrepancies and updating and capturing information as needed.
- Capture data Salesforce, Intralinks and SharePoint as required
- Assist with Audit & Tax Deadlines by tracking information received and reaching out for missing documents for Portfolio Funds
- Participate in team projects, assignments, and other responsibilities such as continual process improvement and data integrity.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is desired but not required
- 3- 5 years of experience in financial reporting, bookkeeping, or a related field. Experience with financial modelling and analysis is preferred.
- A number-oriented individual, bookkeeping reconciliation experience.
- Strong attention to detail and numeric keystroke accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
- Effectively work in a team environment but also able to work independently.
- Able to communicate effectively internally and externally.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities and assignments and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with outlook.
