Job Summary:
The QA Delivery Program Manager will be responsible for managing the quality assurance processes across multiple insurance-related software projects. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the client’s business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, project management, and a deep understanding of the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities:
· Program Management:
· Oversee and manage QA activities across multiple projects within the insurance domain.
· Develop and maintain a comprehensive QA strategy and roadmap aligned with the client’s business objectives.
· Ensure that all projects adhere to regulatory requirements specific to the insurance industry.
· Quality Assurance Leadership:
· Lead a team of QA professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
· Define and implement best practices, processes, and tools for quality assurance.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of QA processes.
· Stakeholder Communication:
· Collaborate with project managers, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that QA processes are integrated into the project lifecycle.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for all QA-related issues, risks, and mitigation strategies.
· Provide regular updates to senior management and clients on the status of QA activities and project health.
· Test Management:
· Oversee the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
· Ensure that test coverage is comprehensive and aligned with project requirements.
· Manage defect tracking, resolution, and reporting to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
· Compliance and Risk Management:
· Ensure that all QA processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements specific to insurance.
· Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with QA activities and project delivery.
· Maintain thorough documentation of QA processes, test results, and compliance audits.
Qualifications:
· Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
· Experience:
· 15+ years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a managerial or program management role.
· Extensive experience in the insurance industry, with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
· Proven track record of managing QA activities across multiple projects and delivering high-quality software solutions.
· Skills:
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
· In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
· Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Certifications:
· PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
· ISTQB certification or equivalent in QA is a plus.
