JOB SUMMARY:
THE SENIOR .NET DEVELOPER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANALYZING, DESIGNING, AND IMPLEMENTING SOFTWARE IMPROVEMENTS AND NEW APPLICATIONS. THIS ROLE IS A KEY RESOURCE FOR THE COMPANY’S ONSITE DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS, PROVIDING EXPERTISE AND GUIDANCE TO PEERS.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- DEFINE AND IMPLEMENT TECHNICAL STRATEGIES FOR PROJECTS.
- SELECT AND APPLY THE APPROPRIATE TECHNICAL ARCHITECTURE FOR EACH PROJECT.
- MANAGE ALL PHASES OF PROJECT DEVELOPMENT, WORKING INDEPENDENTLY WITH MINIMAL SUPERVISION.
- PERFORM SYSTEMS ANALYSIS, DESIGN, PROGRAMMING, TESTING, AND DEBUGGING. DOCUMENT SOFTWARE AND MAJOR ENHANCEMENTS AND CREATE SUPPORT FILES AS NEEDED.
- LEAD AND CONTRIBUTE TO PROCESS IMPROVEMENT INITIATIVES, ACTING AS A CATALYST FOR CHANGE.
- PROVIDE TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP AND MENTORSHIP TO TEAM MEMBERS. COLLABORATE EFFECTIVELY ACROSS DEPARTMENTS.
- PARTICIPATE IN PROJECT TEAMS TO ANALYZE NEEDS, DEVELOP REQUIREMENTS, AND CREATE SPECIFICATIONS.
- EVALUATE CURRENT SYSTEMS AND RECOMMEND REPLACEMENTS OR UPGRADES AS NECESSARY.
- DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS, PROGRAM STANDARDS, AND DOCUMENTATION PRACTICES.
- COORDINATE AND SUPPORT NEW DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS TO ENSURE SUCCESSFUL EXECUTION.
- INDEPENDENTLY DRIVE TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS, RESOLVE ISSUES, AND OVERSEE PROJECTS FROM START TO FINISH.
- APPLY EXPERTISE TO SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACT PROJECT OUTCOMES.
REQUIREMENTS:
- DEGREE IN RELATED FIELD.
- 5+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN .NET DEVELOPMENT.
- PROFICIENCY IN SQL AND DATABASE MANAGEMENT.
- STRONG SKILLS IN SYSTEM ANALYSIS, DESIGN, PROGRAMMING, TESTING, DEBUGGING, AND BUG RESOLUTION.
- EXPERIENCE PROVIDING ONGOING SUPPORT FOR SOFTWARE, HARDWARE, AND PRINTERS.
- ABILITY TO PERFORM NETWORK ADMINISTRATION TASKS.
- PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN PROVIDING TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP AND MENTORING TEAM MEMBERS.
- EXPERIENCE LEADING OR PARTICIPATING IN PROCESS IMPROVEMENT INITIATIVES.
- SUCCESSFUL TRACK RECORD IN MANAGING ALL PHASES OF PROJECT DEVELOPMENT.
- ABILITY TO EVALUATE CURRENT SYSTEMS AND RECOMMEND IMPROVEMENTS OR REPLACEMENTS.
- EXPERIENCE GENERATING AD HOC DEPARTMENTAL REPORTS AS NEEDED.
