Our client, a global financial tech company, is seeking a Senior Copywriter to join their team in a fast-paced, high-tech environment that values both self-direction and collaboration! Working with the content strategy and copywriting team, you'll demonstrate that you're equally comfortable with both big-picture strategy and crafting compelling headlines.
Portfolio Note: In order to be considered, candidates must have 5+ years of professional writing experience for web or mobile content, and provide recent work samples demonstrating their strong skills expressing concepts in concise, conversational, and relevant language, and understanding of how the website fits into a customer’s journey.
You Will:
- Plan and write content for web and mobile experiences as part of the redesign of the client's site
- Present your work and articulate your approach to teammates, product owners, and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with Design on page layout, interactions, and visual tone, ensuring we create a consistent end-to-end experience
- Optimize copy for SEO, naturally weaving keywords into copy
- Optimize copy for comprehension, usability, and impact on trust
- Ensure that your content aligns with legal and compliance requirements, including preparing your work for legal submission
- Use data and research to evaluate your content’s impact, and push for continuous improvement that shows real results
- Maintain and evolve the brand’s content standards, including voice and tone
You Have:
- 5+ years of professional writing experience for web or mobile content
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Design, Information Science or related field
- Excellent, highly creative writing and critical-thinking skills
- Experience working with content standards, such as style and voice and tone guidelines
- Ability to manage multiple projects, setting stakeholder expectations, working individually and collaborating across teams
- Experience writing about financial services, payments, B2B or B2C e-commerce for consumers and/or small businesses is preferred
- Familiarity with Figma and basic web production processes
Logistics:
