Position Summary
This role will support the Paid Digital Media team identify paid media opportunities, campaign execution, ad management, and performance optimization to maximize campaign performance for the Company’s various privacy, security, and optimization technology products. You will be expected to collaborate with members of the media, e-commerce, BI teams, and external media partners to fulfill campaign needs that involve quality assurance for strategy, creativity, audience targeting, and measurement. You will work with various platforms such as paid social, Demand Side Platforms, display, email, search, and affiliate networks. The ideal candidate will have media buying experience with either anti-virus, VPN, PC optimization, or downloadable software products. You must showcase exceptional attention to detail, excel in project management, be able to provide recommendations based on campaign reporting data and have the willingness to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. This position is required to report in person to our office in Pasadena. Currently, the company is utilizing a hybrid model, with attendance required in the office on Mondays and Wednesdays but subject to change.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Research and identify new media channels and perform publisher outreach. This can include, but is not limited to, CPA, CPC, CPI, and CPD partners.
Negotiate media buys/IOs.
Oversee the setup of new publishers, including, but not limited to, UTM setup, source code generation, requesting and trafficking creative, QC’ing tracking links, and measurement tags.
Analyze and report on campaign performance.
Brainstorm creative marketing campaign ideas and strategies.
Maintain up-to-date records of related documentation and reports to distribute to the appropriate co-workers.
Stay current and provide overviews of important marketplaces and emerging media landscapes.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field is required.
A minimum of four years of media buying experience in the downloadable software sector, including areas like PC applications, VPNs, Anti-Virus, and similar products, is required.
Hands-on experience creating/executing successful multi-platform digital marketing/media campaigns including but not limited to PPC, Paid Social, DSPs, Cost per Click, Cost per Install and Cost per Download campaigns, email/newsletter partnerships, Display networks, etc.
Driving analytical process to review and make recommendations on creative optimization and audience targeting.
Proactive approach and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities to meet campaign deadlines.
Energetic self-starter who is flexible, organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Creative copywriting experience and visual design skills are a plus.
