We are seeking an experienced SAP AMS Project Manager with a strong understanding of process management and effective communication skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the support and maintenance of SAP applications, ensuring timely resolution of tickets, and implementing strategic steps to optimize the SAP landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead SAP AMS projects, focusing on support, maintenance, and enhancement of SAP systems.
- Oversee the ticket resolution process, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly and effectively, adhering to SLAs.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to identify, analyze, and resolve SAP-related issues.
- Develop and implement efficient processes for managing service requests, incidents, and changes in the SAP environment.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and senior management, to provide updates on project status and ticket resolution.
- Establish and maintain documentation for all processes, including ticket resolution workflows and escalation procedures.
- Proactively monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance SAP system reliability and efficiency.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the AMS function to enhance service quality and efficiency.
- Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of SAP systems with other enterprise applications.
- Provide training and support to end-users on SAP functionalities and AMS processes.
- Conduct regular reviews of AMS processes and performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP project management, with a focus on Application Management Services (AMS).
- Strong understanding of SAP modules (such as FICO, MM, SD, PP) and experience in managing AMS operations.
- Proven ability to manage the ticket resolution process effectively, ensuring timely and accurate issue resolution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
- Experience in developing and maintaining documentation for IT processes and workflows.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices in IT service management.
- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
- SAP certification is highly desirable.
