Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents accurately and in a timely manner. Monitor and reconcile vendor statements, ensuring accurate payment and resolving any discrepancies. Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports and assist in financial analysis as required. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts. Maintain organized and accurate filing systems for financial documents and records. Collaborate with other departments to gather and provide necessary financial information as needed. Manage the day-to-day entries within QuickBooks, reconcile the bank account once a month, and improve your financial reporting skills. Willingness to adapt to a high pace and rapidly growing environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in dynamic situations. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience as an accounting assistant or in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) and familiarity with financial reporting systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Coachable personality, and willingness to learn and grow.
