Basic Purpose
Responsible for risk management and CVO services to internal clients. Individual works with industry standards from a variety of organizations and federal/state regulatory bodies.
Essential Functions
- Coordination of verification and risk assessment process using NCQA, The Joint Commission, and other appropriate standards as set forth in company policies.
- Process clinical candidate applications, including underwriting facilitation.
- Credentials verifications on initial applications and reapplications of clinical candidates, including extended verifications as needed by internal and/or external clients.
- Assessment of risk for clinical candidate for Locum Tenens (LT) placement, including contract review for compliance.
- Data entry and data integrity of clinical provider data within credentialing system.
- Liaison to clients as point person for completion and delivery of required information in a timely manner.
- Assist in the ongoing documentation of internal processes within CREDENT while seeking out opportunities to improve these procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- College Degree, with bachelor’s degree preferred. May substitute education with appropriate credentialing and/or risk management experience of 2 years.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
